2010 | Yarloop Townscape Sculptures

Shire of Harvey

The townscape committee of Yarloop and the Shire of Harvey commissioned an historic time line of Yarloop as screens for their community Gazebo. The screens tell of the history of timber cutting & milling, architecture, sport and the Towns commitment to WW 1 and 11 and also honour the residents of this historic town.

The standing figures are proposed throughout the town. At present the family 'plays' near the Gazebo however three figures, mill manager, mill worker and delivery boy, as well as the Matron and Town Doctor and being currently designed. A future project will include many more historical figures and these will form the basis of an historic walk through Yarloop.
