Swan River Mahogany (11)

Jarrah (Swan River Mahogany) along with many other varieties of hard wood trees once grew throughout South Western Australia, including the suburbs of Perth. Jarrah, in particular, has been used arbitrarily or wasted during the past, leading to the current situation of a scarcity of good (furniture grade) Jarrah timber.

Swan River Mahogany uses recycled Jarrah and a found wheel barrow to draw attention to this situation.
